At Spectrum Thermal Processing we specialize in vacuum brazing services. This specialized process yields joints of the highest quality. Spectrum utilizes batch and continuous furnaces. Our vacuum furnaces are meet the highest brazing standard AWS C5.6 and can reach temperatures of up to 2150°F during vacuum brazing cycles. High purity, controlled dew point atmospheres of argon and nitrogen are utilized to avoid discoloration, alloy evaporation, and oxidation that can occur. Components of simple and complex configurations, in sizes of up to 34” in length, 22” in width, 22” in height, and weights of up to 500 lbs. can be treated. We handle a range of materials including carbon steel, nickel, Hastelloy, stainless steel, steel, and titanium among others. Simultaneous brazing of multiple joints are possible, creating permanent, strong, and leak proof joints of uniform quality between dissimilar metals. Our vacuum brazing services are particularly suited for the critical needs of the aerospace, medical, military, and petrochemical industries, and Spectrum Thermal Processing is NADCAP accredited and ISO 9001:2008:2000 and AS 9100D certified. A unique combination of advanced material knowledge, equipment capabilities, and usage of proper techniques ensures our customers receive accurate and repeatable results.

Our specialty production shop caters to prototype, low volume and short run production, as well as high volumes and long runs. We provide contract processing and production services, including assembly, inventory control, and Just-in-Time deliveries.
